For use in total hip arthroplasty from a lateral approach with trochanteric osteotomy. This plate provides strong fixation of the greater trochanter.

2 oblong holes located in the lower part of the plate have been designed to accommodate 4.5 mm or 5.0 mm cortical screws.

3 hooks with sharp-pointed tips anchor in the base of the gluteus medius tendon. These hooks are easily contourable to fit the greater trochanter.

1 hole for insertion of cerclage wires.
